A free browser game by the digital artist Dima. You press a machine that tunes into other worlds like a radio, and it pulls penguin-shaped creatures out of the static. You collect them, feed them, and evolve them.

Yes. Nothing has to be bought to play it.

Yes. It is in open beta. Open penguinator.xyz in a browser and press the machine; you get three presses before anything is asked of you. Signing in keeps your progress. Accounts open in waves, so a new player may be on a short list first.

Do I need a crypto wallet?

No. You can play without a wallet. A wallet is only needed if you choose to mint one of your cards.

Is there a crypto coin or token sale?

No. There is no crypto coin, no presale and nothing to trade. It is unrelated to any cryptocurrency with a similar name.

What are the creatures?

26 creatures across four rarities: common, rare, epic and legendary. Each one comes from its own world and can evolve through up to three stages.

How often can I play?

A signed-in player earns one channeling every hour, and the machine holds up to eight at once. There is no daily limit. Older posts that say four a day are out of date.

A rare encounter with seven mini-games made with the artist Pinto, plus the original ten-step timing game. Each one has its own one-of-one card, and the first player to win it claims it.

Who makes it, and how is it funded?

The digital artist Dima, in development since August 2026. It is self-funded: no investors and no token. Any future paid extras would change looks only, never the game.

Can I mint my creatures?

Yes, if you want to. A card you have resolved can be minted to your own wallet on Base using in-game chips. It costs no money; the project pays the gas, and nothing can be bought from the contract.

Privacy & terms

What is collected. If you sign in with Google: your email address and your Google account ID, and a sign-in cookie keeps you signed in on this browser for up to 30 days. If you type your email at the entrance: that address. While you are signed in, your collection - what you channel, feed and hold, and any 1:1 card you win - is saved to your account, with the name, X handle and wallet address you add. Who invited you is kept with your invite.

What it is used for. To sign you in, to keep your collection on every device you use, to let you into the beta, to mint the cards you choose, to answer your feedback, and to tell you when the full release opens. It is not sold.

Who handles it. Our database, hosted with Vercel, which also runs this site. Google, for signing in. Resend, which sends our emails. Coinbase's wallet, if you mint.

What is public. A minted card lives on Base, a public blockchain: the wallet that holds it, the card and its picture can be seen by anyone, for good. Your email is never put there.

Getting out. Write to us on X and we delete your email, your account and your saved collection by hand. You do not have to give a reason. A card that is already minted cannot be taken back off the blockchain.

The demo itself. This is a limited preview. It can change or stop at any time, it makes no promise of a future release, there is no crypto coin, and nothing here is an offer or financial advice. Signed out, your collection lives only in this browser: clearing your browser data clears it. Signed in, it follows you to your other devices. Signing out does not wipe this browser's copy - on a shared device, clear it yourself.

Feedback. If you send a note from Feedback, we keep what you wrote with the screen you were on, your screen size and your device and browser - and your account and email if you are signed in, so we can reply. A scrambled form of your internet address is kept only to stop spam.
